Forrester Access is a Cotswold based platform hire company. We specialise in ’niche-market’ platforms which offer outstanding performance, with particular versatility in terms of getting into awkward work sites. Our Ranger R16 platform will self propel to locations totally inaccessible to conventional self propelled, towed or vehicle-mounted machinery.
Our machines all feature a two-person basket. We realise that the majority of our clients may be unfamiliar with access platforms, and it is our policy to offer a qualified operator with our machines if required. This takes the worry out of using a platform, and allows a client such as a surveyor or architect to concentrate on their job rather than having to operate a machine as well.
Our philosophy is to provide the very best and most modern access platforms available. We are one of the first companies in the UK to have purchased the Ranger R16 platform, which we concluded was the best machine in its class and would become our flagship platform.
The new ’Work at Height Regulations’ greatly increase the responsibility an employer or contractor has to control how work at height is carried out. A proper Risk Assessment must be undertaken and a SAFE means of access and working must be ensured. Our access platforms provide a safe, versatile and convenient alternative to both scaffolding and the ladder, indoors or outside, with minimal disruption and inconvenience to our clients.
