About Us

Interior inspection of a churchWe have a vast experience of working in the Churches, Cathedrals and historic buildings of England and Wales. We bring this expertise to each job we undertake – whether it be carrying out a planned or routine maintenance task ourselves, or enabling a specialist contractor, architect or surveyor to get up to high level themselves to make a repair or carry out a close up inspection.

Our operators are not only experts at using the machines, but are fully aware of the decorum and protocol necessary to work discreetly and effectively in an ecclesiastical, heritage or other sensitive locations. We have established a valued reputation among our clients for being punctual, reliable and effective – something which keeps our client base loyal – and steadily expanding.

Verification

In order to work for certain public sector and commercial clients we have recently been assessed and certified as competent by the following contractor verification bodies:

Basildon Park

Ward and Co of Stonehouse have recently completed a major conservation project for The National Trust at Basildon Park. With the full scaffolding having been removed, Forrester Access were brought on site for four days of final snagging and finishing off of various details around the building. We were able to negotiate the gardens, footpaths and steps to reach each elevation of the House as necessary. At the end of most major conservation projects – often after a scaffold has been removed – there are details requiring further attention. Supervising architects (in this case Nick Cox Architects) will make a detailed inspection of the building and compile a list of these 'snags'. Our access platforms provide a very efficient and cost effective means to reach these areas with minimal inconvenience to contractor or client.

We specialise in access solutions for:

  • Cathedrals
  • Churches
  • Castles
  • Historic Houses
  • Schools
  • Estates
  • Ancient Monuments
